Algeria: KCA Deutag saw a slew of new contract awards coming our of Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Russia.

These contracts, with a combined value of approximately $54 million, are for drilling operations.

The company saw recent success in Algeria where it won a new drilling contract for one of Bentec’s fast moving 1500 hp Speed Rigs which will commence in June. The rig will carry out a short-term plug and abandonment program.

The company did not say who the drilling contract was with.
